Between river and silence

Three wooden cabins run by a Cochrane family, at the edge of town on the riverbank. Drive in off the Carretera Austral, light the stove and rest before the road calls again.

a short walk to town, right by the river

Your stay

What's waiting when you arrive

We're a Cochrane family. We welcome you ourselves, hand you the keys and tell you whatever you need to know about town.

  1. River on one side, town on the other

We're on Arturo Prat street, right where Cochrane ends and the river begins. Walk into town for bread or dinner, then fall asleep to the sound of water.

  2. Fishing minutes away

The Cochrane and the Baker are two of the most beautiful rivers in the south to cast a line. If you brought a rod, you're in the right place.

  3. Wood-fire warmth

Every cabin has a slow-burning wood stove. After a day of gravel roads and wind, lighting it is the first thing you'll want to do.
